As president, founder, and operator of Jonny Builds, it is my goal to provide a construction service that not only meets our clients’ expectations but exceeds them in every facet of the construction process. Starting a successful construction business and creating a business identity that I can be proud of is driven by my passion to excel and succeed in everything that I do. Working in construction was a career path that I pursued after completing a master’s of science degree with a focus in micrometeorology at Carleton University. While I have a passion for the physical environment and a concern for changes in our future environment, the joy and pride I feel after the completion of a successful building endeavour drives my enthusiasm to succeed and progress in construction. Making new friends along the way and enjoying what I do every day keeps my demeanor positive and humorous.
Construction is a family business. My father and two uncles are master carpenters, custom home builders, and renovators within the National Capital Region. Through my employment with my father and uncle over the last 15 years, I have gained valuable experience within all aspects of the construction trade from estimating to construction management and everything in between.
In 2010, I became the owner and operator of Jonny Builds. This company was created with the belief that communication between the client and contractor is the paramount priority in the building process. As a dedicated owner and operator, I am on site for every project communicating in person with clients, making changes when necessary, and dealing with all unforeseen issues effectively and amicably. I strive to deliver a product that is over-and-above our clients’ expectations on every building project. Every project, no matter the size or scope, receives the same attention to detail throughout the construction process that Jonny Builds is based upon and known for.
From decks, to custom kitchens, beautiful bathrooms and modern renovations – Jonny Builds them all. No project is too big or too small, so let’s work together soon!
